Description

Number 57 and St James's Lodge are an early to mid-19th century pair of semi-detached houses. They are constructed of stucco, with a roof that is partly slate and partly concrete tiled. The architectural style is Regency Gothic. The houses are two storeys high and comprise four bays, with the outer bays set back and containing the entrances. The windows are mullioned, and there is an oriel window on the first floor to the right-hand side, as well as a ground floor bay window to the left gable. These houses form a group with St James’s Church and St James’s Gardens.
