Description

This is a terrace of six pseudo-semi-detached houses, numbered 46 to 52, dated circa 1850. The houses are part of a grand layout designed to lead towards St James’s Gardens. They are constructed of brick, with stucco finishes to the basement, pilasters, cill bands, architraves, and parapets. The buildings are two storeys high with basements, and each is four windows wide. The ground floor windows are French casements, accompanied by cast-iron balconies. The first-floor windows are round-headed sashes. The roofs are low-pitched and slate-covered. The entrances are recessed on either side of each house.
