Description

A mews, dating from 1862, located in Holland Park Mews. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and built on a steep slope, resulting in a stepped appearance. Each property has a garage door at ground floor level. Stone steps lead to the lower section of the elevation, accompanied by iron railings. A segmental window is situated on the staircase, and there’s a segmental headed door below. The upper floor features an iron-railed balcony across the front, housing two sash windows and a central door with a fanlight. A stuccoed cornice and balustrade are also present. Some properties have been altered, with ground floor remodelling or stair removal. A few lack balustrades. The buildings are notable for their unusual design and picturesque character.
