Description
Number 3 is a terraced house located on Brooksby Street in Islington. It dates from the 19th century and is constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, topped with a roof made of slate and tiles. The building has two storeys over a basement and features a mansard roof with three dormer windows. All openings have heads made of gauged brick. The entrance is round-arched and flanked by fluted and cabled pilasters, with a cornice, fanlight, and a panelled door that retains its original design. There is a round-arched window on the ground floor and a flat-arched window on the first floor, with a works entrance to the right of the main entrance. The house has a parapet and three flat-arched dormers in the roof, as well as a stack on the party wall. Additionally, there are cast-iron railings leading to the steps and area.
