Description

This is a cast iron hexagonal pillar box dating from 1866 to 1876, designed by J.W. Penfold. It stands on a high plinth with a ball cornice and features a raised ogee top decorated with a leaf pattern, culminating in a pineapple finial. The pillar box is of group value and is located outside numbers 169-191 Highbury New Park.
