This is a 19th-century triangular cast-iron milepost located outside No 81, the Angel Hotel, on King Street. It features a semi-circular head inscribed with "HAMMERSMITH PARISH" and distances to "HOUNSLOW 6½" and "LONDON 3½." The milepost is protected by an iron railing.
