Description
The Church of Saint Paul in Hammersmith is a Grade II listed building, rebuilt between 1882 and 1891 by architects J P Seddon and H R Gough. It is constructed of coursed pink rubblestone with ashlar dressings and is designed in a Gothic style, featuring a four-stage pinnacled tower at the northeast corner. The church houses 17th century and 18th century monuments from the former church, as well as a pulpit from Wren's church of All Hallows-the-Great on Upper Thames Street in the City of London. The building is graded II primarily due to the significant fittings and monuments it contains.
