Description

The Swan Public House is a public house built in 1901 by F Miller. It is designed in a Free Jacobean style and constructed from red brick and stone, with a slate roof. The building is prominently located at the corner of Hammersmith Broadway and King Street. It stands four storeys tall with attics, featuring a ground storey made of red and black granite. The façade includes a three-storey oriel bay at the corner and has four unequal bays at the ground level, with a chamfered angle beneath the oriel. The gables are ornamented with mosaic designs and some cut brick detailing. The interior retains some original features.
