Description
This is a row of five early to mid-19th century terraced houses located on the west side of De Beauvoir Road, N1. The houses are built of stock brick and are each two storeys high with a basement, and have two windows each. They are set around a wide, axial recess, with the outer bays slightly set back from the road. The roofs are low pitched and covered with slate, featuring an eaves soffit. The sash windows, mostly with glazing bars or margin lights, are set within stucco-lined reveals and have gauged flat brick arches above; No. 87 has later architraves. Some windows have cast iron ornamental window guards. Five steps lead up to an assortment of front doors, each with pilasters and rectangular fanlights. These houses have group value when viewed together with Nos 75 to 105 (odd).
