Description

This is a row of three early to mid-19th century houses located on De Beauvoir Road. Each house is two storeys high with a basement and has two windows. The outer bays of the houses are slightly set back, with a wider recess along the central axis. The houses were built using stock brick and feature low-pitched, hipped slate roofs with an eaves soffit. The sash windows have glazing bars and margin lights on the ground floor, set within stucco lined reveals, and are topped with gauged flat brick arches. Cast iron ornamental guards are present on the ground floor windows. A set of five steps with a cast iron handrail leads to the front doors, which are made of four or six panels, and feature pilasters and rectangular fanlights. Nos. 75 to 105 (odd) are considered to form a group.
