Description

No. 4 Sylvester Path is a terraced house, likely built in the mid to late 18th century, with a facade that was partly reconstructed in the early 19th century. The house is constructed of stock brick and features a double pitched roof that runs from the front to the rear, with sections that are plain and others that are covered with pantiles. It has two storeys and is two windows wide. The central entrance is square-headed, architraved, and dates from the early 19th century. The windows are also square-headed with gauged heads and are fitted with sashes, some of which have glazing bars. Inside, the house retains simple 18th-century panelling throughout, along with a staircase that has turned balusters.
