Description

Circle House is an early 18th-century building of two storeys, an attic, and a basement, originally with three windows. The roof is a high-pitched tiled gambrel roof with modern dormers. The building is constructed of stock brick with red brick dressings, although the upper parts have been rebuilt. The basement is stuccoed. Segmental arches are above the replaced sash windows, with those on the ground floor in exposed box frames. Four steps lead to the front door, which is of eight panels (four fielded, two glazed), set within a 19th-century doorcase consisting of panelled pilasters and a console bracketed cornice hood.
