Detached house, now sub-divided. c1700 centre with wings added in late C19 when the north entrance facade was refronted. South garden facade refaced late C18. EXTERIOR: North (entrance) facade: brown brick with red brick dressings and bands at 1st floor level and above 1st floor windows. Slated roof with dormers, tall chimney-stacks and wooden modillion cornice rising to form a pediment above a central dormer. 2 storeys. 9 windows plus 3 window left hand projecting bay and single window recessed right hand bay. Central 2 storey projecting porch; doorway with console-bracketed cornice, overlight and panelled door. 1st storey has round-arched window with intersecting tracery and cornice. Gauged red brick flat arches and dressings to flush framed sashes with exposed boxing. South (garden) facade: multi-coloured stock brick with red brick dressings. Pilasters at angles support moulded brick cornice. Cement parapet. Gauged red brick flat arches to flush framed sashes flanked by C18 wooden pilasters. Early C19 loggia along ground floor front with cast-iron arcaded trellis, balcony and tented roof; extended late C19, in similar style, at west end and along west side of garden forming a conservatory. INTERIOR: noted to retain panelling. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with urn finials on stone capped brick wall and gate pier with cast-iron lamp-holder.
