Description

A terrace of 22 houses dating from the 1840s to 1850s, located on Regent's Park Terrace in Camden. Numbers 1 to 21 form a symmetrical façade with slightly projecting end houses. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco to the ground floors. They are four storeys high, with basements. Each house has two windows. The doorways have square heads, cornices, fanlights, and panelled doors. Number 1 has a stucco portico on its right-hand return, featuring pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet, with a round-arched doorway. The windows are architraved sashes; those on the first floor have cornices and continuous cast-iron balconies, while the second floor also has cornices. The second and third floors have plain stucco sill bands. A stucco modillion cornice and blocking course runs along the top. Number 22 is two storeys high, with a basement, and has one window. It features a projecting stucco portico with a balustraded parapet. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with foliated finials border the areas.
