Description

This is a terrace of four cottages located in Keats Grove, Camden. They were likely built in the early 19th century, reportedly for workers at a nearby brickfield. The cottages are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick, with the roofs of numbers 19 and 20 being slate, and numbers 21 and 22 having pantile roofs.

Each cottage has two storeys and one window. The doorways have round arches and stucco surrounds, with number 22 featuring reeded details. The doorways originally had fanlights, some of which are now blocked; number 20 has a patterned fanlight and a panelled door, while the others have part-glazed panelled doors. The windows are recessed sashes with gauged brick flat arches, and the first floor has a plain stucco continuous sill band. The cottages are topped with parapets.

The interiors have not been inspected. Attached to the cottages are low brick garden walls with cast-iron railings, which have fleur-de-lys finials.
