Description
McGlynn's is a public house located on a corner site with its main frontage facing Argyle Walk. It was built in the early 19th century and is constructed of yellow stock brick. The building has three storeys and basements, featuring a main frontage with four windows and a one-window return. The later 19th-century wooden public house frontage includes a splayed corner. It is adorned with pilasters that support an entablature with a projecting cornice, and there is a panelled dado with altered windows. The entrances have part glazed panelled doors. The facade on Whidbourne Street features a round-arched house doorway with a fanlight and a panelled door, and there are gauged brick flat arches above the recessed sashes. The building also has parapets. The interior has not been inspected.
