Description
Feathers Inn is a public house located in Great Yarmouth, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed red brick and features a roof of black-glazed pantiles at the front and slate on the rear slope. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The central door, which dates from the 19th century, includes a 20th-century glazed upper panel, framed by a plain timber doorcase and hood. On either side of the door are two 2/0 horned sash windows, set within flush frames and topped with gauged skewback arches. The first floor has four 2/2 horned sash windows, also in flush frames. The roof is gabled with internal gable-end stacks at both the north and south ends. The interior of the ground floor has been opened up into one room in the late 20th century, but it has not been inspected further.
