Description
The Black Swan is a public house dating from the 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick, which is painted at the ground floor, and features a black pantile roof. The building has two storeys and includes four windows, along with one blind window on the first floor. There are paired doors to the right of center, surrounded by fluted surrounds. On each side of the doors, there are casement windows with turned mullions and fluted pilasters. A carriage entry is located at the extreme left side of the building. The facade has a deep fascia running across its length, and the first-floor sash windows, which have glazing bars, are situated beneath a coved cornice. Additionally, there are two oval panels positioned between the windows.
