Description

No. 41 Exchange Street is an office building dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The structure is built of painted brick and features a pantile roof. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays. The shopfront is a modern addition, with a projecting brick fascia. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars. The outer bays feature rubbed brick flat arches, while the central bay has a simply moulded surround. A projecting cornice adds to the architectural detail.
