Description

No. 29 Exchange Street is an early 19th-century building that has been altered in the 20th century. It is rendered and has three storeys with a single bay. The ground floor features a 20th-century shopfront with a central door, flanked by 19th-century rusticated quoins. On the first floor, there is a central sash window with glazing bars, topped by a pediment supported on consoles. The second floor has a 20th-century casement window. The building is adorned with two attached Corinthian columns and two pilasters that extend through the upper two floors. Above, there is a modillion cornice and a parapet that includes lion masks.
