Description
The White Hart Inn is a public house located on High Street in Aldeburgh. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some later alterations and extensions. The building is constructed from rendered and colourwashed brick, featuring a roof with black-glazed pantiles at the front and 20th-century red pantiles at the rear.
The exterior is two stories high with a three-window front. A central half-glazed door from the 20th century is set in a timber doorcase and is flanked by 8/8 unhorned sash windows. On the first floor, similar sash windows flank a central 6/6 unhorned sash window. At the rear, there is a two-storey extension with a flat top. The interior does not contain any features of special interest.
