Description
The Sun Trap (No.233) and End Cottage (No.235) are two houses that form part of a terrace of three, built around 1840 and altered in the 20th century. They are constructed of colourwashed brick and feature a pantile roof with a central ridge stack on No.233.
The exterior consists of two storeys. No.233 has a two-window front, while No.235 has a one-window front. The entrance to No.233 includes a six-panel door with two glazed panels set in a plain architrave with a hood. Flanking the door are segment-headed three-over-six horned sash windows. On the first floor, there is a blind central window flanked by two three-over-three horned sash windows, all with flush frames. No.235 features a six-panel door in a minimal doorcase to the right of a single six-over-six unhorned flush-framed sash window beneath a segmental head, with a three-over-six horned sash window above. The left side of No.235 has one late 20th-century plate-glass window on each floor. At the rear, there is a two-storey outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
