Description

Number 59 is a terraced house built circa 1827-32 by W Forrester Bray. It has a painted brick and stucco ground floor and a brick first-floor sill band. The house is three storeys high with a basement and has two windows. The ground-floor openings have architraves and round arches. The doorway features fluted Doric quarter columns, a cornice head, a 20th-century panelled door, and a patterned fanlight. A casement window is on the ground floor. The upper storeys have recessed sashes with gauged brick flat arches, the first-floor windows being within shallow arched recesses. A parapet tops the building. The interior was not inspected. Attached to the property are cast-iron railings with urn finials to the areas.
