Description
Fitzroy Lodge is an early 19th-century, three-bay villa located on the east side of The Grove in Highgate. The building is stuccoed and features a first-floor cill band, with its left angle set back. It has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with a central chimney. The villa has recessed sash windows with glazing bars, and those in the angle are set within round-arched recesses. There is a modern door that is recessed in a raised stucco surround.
To the right, there is a projecting wing that is two storeys tall with an attic, featuring one window, although the attic storey has been altered. The sash windows with glazing bars are located below, and the first-floor cill band continues across this section. The low-pitched hipped slate roof of the wing has eaves that are broken to accommodate a large modern window.
