Description

Pickets House is an early 19th-century, two-storey villa located on King's Road, set back from the road with its side facing Grove Road. The building features a band between the storeys and has panelled quoin pilasters at the first floor. The garden front has three windows, with glazing bar sashes on the first floor and marginal glazed French casements on the ground floor, complemented by a tent roof verandah. The hipped slate roof has an eaves cornice. The return flank facing Grove Road has four windows, with a central panelled pilaster at the first floor, three sashes on the ground floor, and a shallow canted bay topped with a lead tent roof.
