Description

Two semi-detached houses, built in the early 19th century. The houses are rendered with a rusticated finish to the ground floor, and have a pitched roof topped by a central chimney stack. They are three storeys high, with basements. The central section has three windows, the centre one being blind, with single-window entrance bays recessed at the first floor level. A later 19th-century single-window extension was added to the north end of number 50. The doorways are round-arched, with panelled jambs, fanlights, and panelled doors. The windows are recessed sashes. The ground floor of the extension to number 50 features a round-arched sash window, and the second floor has a round-arched casement window flanked by pilasters supporting a gable. The interiors were not inspected. Attached wrought-iron railings are present to the areas and steps.
