Description

A terrace of twelve houses built in the early 19th century. The end houses (numbers 11 and 33) and the central houses (numbers 21 and 23) are stuccoed, with rusticated ground floors. The other houses have yellow stock brick upper floors, mostly refaced, with stuccoed ground floors and a first-floor band. The houses are three storeys high with basements. Each house has two windows, except for the end and central houses which have one window each. The ground floor openings are round-arched, though the end and central houses have segmental-arched sash windows. The doorways have reeded surrounds, radial or patterned fanlights, and mostly panelled doors. The ground floor sash windows are mostly fitted with margin glazing. The upper floors of the end and central houses feature segmental-arched tripartite sash windows. The first floors have cast-iron balconies. The remaining houses have gauged brick flat arches over recessed casements, also with cast-iron balconies on the first floors; the second floors have segmental-arched recessed sash windows. The parapets feature a blocking course on the central houses. The interiors remain uninspected. Attached cast-iron railings, topped with urn finials, are present to the areas.
