Description

Numbers 46, 48, and 50 are three terraced houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick, with Number 46 featuring tuck pointing. Numbers 46 and 48 have a plain stucco band at the first-floor sill. The houses are four storeys high with basements and each has three windows. Number 46 projects slightly from the others. The round-arched doorways have stucco keystones and impost blocks, with pilaster-jambs; Number 46 includes sidelights, cornice-heads, fanlights, and panelled doors. The recessed sash windows, most of which have glazing bars, feature gauged brick flat arches, with Number 46 having a reddened arch. Numbers 46 and 48 have wrought-iron balconies at the first-floor windows, while Number 50 has a continuous cast-iron balcony. The houses have a parapet. The interiors were not inspected. The properties are complemented by attached cast-iron railings with urn finials leading to the areas.
