Description

The monument to George Edwards Hering is a headstone featuring a shaped top with a circular recess that holds a high relief carved profile bust of George Hering. The leaded inscription identifies him as a landscape painter and also commemorates his wife, Catherine. At the foot of the monument, there is a bas-relief carving of an artist's palette and brushes.
