GV II

Wall, porter's lodge & gateway. Wall north of library (qv), C18 of multi-coloured stock brick with flat stone coping. Wall & gateway south of library, mid C19 in similar Tudor style to Hardwick's New Hall and Library (qqv). Diapered red brick with stone dressings. Main west gate with arched entrance and battlemented parapet flanked by cupolas. Porter's lodge with gables, square-headed window and doorway with dripmoulds. INTERIOR: not inspected.
