Description
The western boundary wall, gates, and porter's lodge at Lincoln's Inn date from the 18th century and are located north of the library. The wall is constructed of multi-coloured stock brick with a flat stone coping. The wall and gateway south of the library were built in the mid-19th century and are designed in a similar Tudor style to Hardwick's New Hall and Library. This section features diapered red brick with stone dressings. The main west gate has an arched entrance and a battlemented parapet, which is flanked by cupolas. The porter's lodge includes gables and a square-headed window and doorway, both adorned with dripmoulds. The interior has not been inspected.
