Description
The Porter's Lodge at the north-west corner of Number 10 Old Square is a small structure built in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a fish-scale tile roof topped with a wrought-iron central decoration. The lodge has a rectangular plan with concave angles and is designed in the Tudor style. Notable architectural elements include square-headed windows, a pointed arch doorway, and a door, as well as crow-step gables on each side, each surmounted by finials.
