Description

The wall, gates, and gatepiers attached to the northwest of Lamport Hall stables date from the 18th and mid-19th centuries. They are constructed from squared coursed lias and limestone ashlar. The central square gatepiers, which are linked by a wooden gate, are likely from the 18th century. The octagonal gatepiers, topped with ball finials and connected by another wooden gate, were added in the 19th century.
