Description
Cossey Cottage is a service wing to No.7, Sidney House, now a private residence. It dates from the late 18th century and was partly refaced in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and has two storeys with a semi-basement. The façade features one window and a three-window canted bay on the right. There is a plain segmental-arched doorway on the east return. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and recessed two-pane sashes, with the sashes in the canted bay being enlarged in the mid-19th century. The building is topped with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
