Description
The Primary School and School House in Horringer dates from around 1840. It is a two-storey building with a one-storey schoolroom, constructed of gault brick. The roofs are slated and feature moulded bargeboards and finials, along with a gault brick chimney that has four octagonal flues. The windows are framed in limestone, with splayed reveals and hood-moulds, and include wooden mullions and transoms, with casements that have leaded lights. There is a stone-framed splayed one-storey bay with a hipped slated roof. The entrance door is four-panelled, framed in limestone, and has a hood-mould above it.
