Description

The Cottage is a house dating from around 1850, with a core that may date back to the 17th or 18th century. It features a two-cell lobby-entrance plan and stands two storeys high with two windows. The building is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof that has eyebrows above the windows. It also has bargeboards with undulating soffits and pendant finials. The axial chimney, made of red brick, is from the 19th century and has attached pilasters in the 17th century Kentish style.
