Description

Maulkins Cottages, consisting of Nos. 3 and 4, is a farmhouse that was divided into two cottages in the 19th century. The building dates back to the mid-17th century and is 1.5 storeys high with a two-cell plan. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a 20th-century pantiled roof. Inside, there is an internal chimney stack, which underwent a complex rearrangement of flues during the conversion to cottages. The exterior features three 3-light casement windows from the 19th century and one flat-headed dormer window, along with two plank doors.
