Description

The building known as the stables to No. 78 is a former stable block that has been converted into outhouses. It dates from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. This single-storey structure is positioned sideways to the street and features a timber frame that is plastered, along with a gault brick face on the street side. The roof is hipped and covered with pantiles, though it is slated over the hip that faces the street. The building includes various windows and doors, including one small-paned sash window that looks out onto the street. It is included in the listing for its group value with the adjacent properties.
