Description

Shambles is a row of three cottages, now converted into two, dating from the early 19th century. The cottages were raised and altered in the mid 19th century and further converted in the mid 20th century. They are two storeys high and constructed from dark knapped flint, featuring original dressings in red brick and later dressings and heightening in gault brick. The roof is slate. There are four windows, which are small-paned sashes with segmental heads to the frames on the ground floor. The doors date from around 1980.
