Description

No. 78 on High Street is an early 19th-century house made of gault brick, featuring a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with small-paned sash windows set in flush frames, each topped with flat arches. The central entrance is a six-panel door beneath a flat canopy, which is supported by slender, fluted cast iron columns. There is also a six-panel side door that has a rusticated surround, a keyed architrave, a convex frieze, and a cornice.
