A cottage on a corner site. C16. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and rendered, with a jetty along the High Street frontage supported on small solid brackets. Single Roman tiled roof. Casement windows and C20 door. A photograph of c.1890 shows that the building was then longer (Jarman Collection, Record Officed, Bury St Edmuds). Probably originally a cross-wing to No 70.
