Description

No. 8 Stonebridge Lane is a cottage dating from the early to late 18th century. It features a timber frame that is rendered and has a thatched roof made of reed and long straw. The building has a plan consisting of two bays; one bay originally served as the parlour for No. 6, while the other bay, added in the late 18th century, is part of No. 10. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It has 20th-century windows and a door. Inside, all original details and framing have been boxed or sealed.
