Description
No. 11 St Andrew's Street is a building that originally served as one house but is now divided into two. It dates from the late 16th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure has two storeys and attics, featuring two windows. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a plain tiled roof, while the rear slope has a concrete tile finish. The building includes a casement dormer and has axial and gable chimneys made of gault brick. The windows are 19th-century sash style. A carriage entrance was created through the center of the house in either the 19th or 20th century. Internally, some of the original 16th-century timber framing is exposed, and the roof features clasped purlins.
