Description
Lloyds Bank is a bank building dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features three windows and stands three storeys tall. The structure is constructed of brown brick, accented with red brick quoins and a string course at the first and second floors, while the upper floor, made of red brick, was added in the 19th century. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The windows are sash style, featuring flat arches made of gauged brick and small-pane sashes. The entrance doorway, from the early 19th century, has a painted stone architrave and a cornice supported by console brackets. The entrance is completed with a pair of 20th-century three-panelled doors.
