Description
No. 45 High Street is a house from the mid-19th century, featuring an earlier core. It stands three storeys tall with three windows and is constructed of red brick. At the second floor level, there is a band of terracotta tiles with a trailing-leaf pattern. The roof is slated and includes carved bargeboards and end chimneys, with the right chimney made of 18th-century red and gault brick. The upper floors have small-pane sash windows. There are two 19th-century splayed bay windows with sash windows and hipped roofs. The house has a mid-19th-century open porch, which features rustic timber framing on a rendered plinth and a slated roof adorned with traceried barge boards and a spike finial. To the left, there is a one-storey wing that likely has an 18th-century or earlier core.
