Grove House

Grove House is a former farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and has an irregular shape. The building features sections of white gault brick along with areas that are rendered and colour-washed. The roofs are covered with black glazed pantiles and have pierced and ornamented barge-boards on all the gables. There are two large internal chimney stacks, each with four plain shafts and attached heads that have dentil ornamentation, as well as two smaller stacks at the rear.

The main front of the house has a slightly projecting central gable that is two storeys tall. It includes two-light and three-light casement windows with transoms. The entrance features a half-glazed door topped by a semi-circular fanlight. Additionally, there is a single-storey gabled porch with barge boards that match those on the gables. On the north-east side, there is a mid-19th century service wing that has two- and three-light casement windows with arched heads to their surrounds.
