Description

Bourn House is a house dating from the 17th century that was extensively modernised in the mid-20th century. It has one and a half storeys and features a timber frame that is rendered, topped with a black glazed pantiled roof. The house includes one internal chimney stack and one end chimney stack, the latter having a plain shaft with a recessed panel. The windows are small-paned casements from the 20th century, and there are two gabled dormers. The entrance has a glazed door also from the 20th century. Additionally, there is a single-storey lean-to extension from the 19th century along the north side, which is rendered and has clay pantiles.
