Description

Valley Farm is a former 18th century farmhouse that features an early 19th century facade. The building is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick and has a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high, with a 1½ storey outshut at the rear. The facade consists of five bays, with a central entrance door that is half glazed and framed by a timber door surround with a projecting cornice. There are three sash windows with glazing bars located at the first floor level. The farmhouse has a flint plinth that steps up at the northern end, and a plat-band on the south gable at the first floor level. The gables are finished with parapets, brick kneelers, and end stacks.
