Description
39 Crown Street is a house from the early 19th century, possibly with an earlier core. It is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a slate roof that features a moulded wood eaves cornice. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a three-window range. The ground and first storeys have 12-pane sash windows, while the second storey has 6-pane sash windows, all set within heavy moulded stucco architraves. A raised and moulded stucco band runs between the first and second storeys. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door flanked by square leaded sidelights, all set in a wide recess with panelled reveals, pilasters, and a cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
