Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th or 18th century, with early 19th-century remodelling in the Gothick style. It has one storey and attics, featuring a three-cell plan. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof that has a central chimney made of gault brick and gabled casement dormers. Each dormer is adorned with a gabled plaster hoodmould. The windows are three-light casements from the 19th century, which have moulded plaster pediments. The entrance features a 20th-century two-panelled door with side-lights. Additionally, a parlour extension was added at right angles in the mid-19th century, which has rendered walls and a hipped slated roof, along with small pane sash windows.
