Description

Dark Lane House is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a four-window range with mullion and transom casements. There is a lobby entrance that includes a 19th-century four-panel door, and to the right side, there is a mid-20th-century six-panel door. Inside, there is an internal stack with four clustered hexagonal flues. The gables are adorned with ornamental bargeboards. Additionally, there is a 19th-century brick wing on the left side of the house.
